Billboard Fridays - Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta

Pra ver a parada, clique acima.

We got a new leader on Billboard's Hot Rap Charts. This time, the guy at the top spot is Wiz Khalifa with See You Again. This song also occupies Hot 100's top spot, so it's the most played single in America right now. This week's highlight goes to Kendrick Lamar though. King Kunta is the third single from his latest album, To Pimp A Butterfly. The album is incredible with many live set band sounds and some heavy free jazz influence. This song especifically was produced by Terrace Martin and Sounwave and, even though it doesn't sound anything like any other song on the charts, it's one of the most accessible songs on the album. Maybe that's why it's not one of my favorite either, but it's still a pretty great song. The video is a future classic too, with Kendrick showing the world a little bit of his hometown of Compton through many little and local aspects. You can check the whole thing above.
