Billboard Fridays: J. Cole - Apparently

I Don't Fuck With You. Pra ouvir, clique acima.

Another week comes along and Big Sean stays on the Billboard Hot Rap Charts lead with I Don't Fuck With You. This week's highlight goes to J. Cole though. Last year he released the great 2014 Forest Hills Drive, which was the album that best sold rap album based on the first week sales in 2014. That made 5 of his songs to turn up on Billboard's Hot Rap Charts, but the real single (which only came after the album release) is the song above. It has an interesting concept. He starts saying the song is his canvas and he will paint it how he wants it, that there's no right or wrong and he proceeds to talk about his relationship with his mother, girlfriend and others stuff on his life. The beat was done by J. Cole himself so it's obvious that it fits his flow pretty well. The video is simple too, with just Cole rhyming over a blue background that changes a bit. I think it's a pretty great song, different from most stuff we see nowadays on this charts. You can check it clicking above.
