Billboard Fridays: 2 Chainz & Wiz Khalifa - We Own It (Fast & Furious)

Novamente Macklemore e Ryan Lewis continuam na liderança com Can't Hold Us, o que não é novidade, portanto vamos ao destaque da semana, que é. Essa musica do 2 Chainz e Wiz Khalifa, como o próprio nome já indica, foi uma que foi comissionada para fazer parte da trilha sonora do sexto filme da sequencia de Velozes e Furiosos (ou Fast & Furious em inglês). Nos versos o que os dois fazem é dizer como eles mandam em tudo, mas como nenhum dos dois é dos mais líricos o conceito não é nenhum pouco original. A batida feita por The Futuristics também parece feita justamente pra aparecer na sequencia de créditos do filme. Ela é impactante mas depois de ouvir umas 3x cansa bastante. O video da musica existe, mas nem sei se dá pra chamar de video da musica pois consiste basicamente em cenas dos 6 filmes da sequencia e volta e meia é interrompida por dialogos ou pneus derrapando. Once again Macklemore and Ryan Lewis keep the top spot to themselves with Can't Hold Us, which isn't news, so let's go straight to this week's highlight, which is. This song by 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa, like the name of it shows, was comissioned to be part of the 6th movie on the Fast & Furious franchise. On the bars, both rappers basically tell you how they own everything, but as you would imagine the concept ain't really original and since none of the rappers are from the most lyrical side of rap, it ends up being kinda boring. The beat done by The Futuristics also seem just like something made straight for movie credits. It has some impact on the first listen, but after 3 or 4 listens it ends up being very annoying. The video for the song also exists, but you can barelly call it that. It consists on images from the 6 Fast & Furious movies and the song ends up being interrupted by dialogues and cars swerving. The whole thing ain't the worst thing in the world, but is far from the best either. To watch it, click above.
